We strive to make the exchange and return process simple, fair, and transparent, ensuring that you can shop with confidence.
1. Eligibility for Exchanges and Returns: To be eligible for an exchange or return, items must be in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact. Items that have been worn, washed, damaged, or altered (including removing tags) are not eligible for exchange or return. Additionally, personalized items (if available in the future) and final sale items (clearly marked as "Final Sale" on the product page) are non-exchangeable and non-returnable.
2. Return and Exchange Period: You may request an exchange or return within 30 days from the date you receive your order. This 30-day period is calculated from the delivery date indicated on the shipping carrier’s tracking information. If you request an exchange or return after the 30-day period, your request will be denied, and we will not be able to process your exchange or return.
3. How to Request an Exchange or Return: To initiate an exchange or return, please follow these steps:
a. Send an email to info@dressvscode.com with the subject line "Exchange Request" or "Return Request".
b. In the email, include your order number, the name of the item(s) you wish to exchange or return, the reason for the exchange or return, and (for returns) whether you prefer a refund or store credit.
c. Our customer service team will respond to your email within 1-2 business days, providing you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to package and ship the item(s) back to us.
d. Please clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Packages without a valid RMA number will not be accepted, and we will not be responsible for any items received without an RMA number.
4. Return Shipping Costs: For returns, the cost of shipping the item(s) back to us is the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defect in the item, a shipping error (e.g., wrong item sent, damaged during shipping), or a mistake on our part. In such cases, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label via email, and you will not be required to pay for return shipping. For exchanges, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost of the original item, and we will cover the shipping cost of the new item being sent to you (within the United States; international exchange shipping costs may apply).
5. Processing Exchanges: Once we receive your returned item(s) and verify that they meet the eligibility requirements, we will process your exchange within 3-5 business days. We will ship the new item(s) to you using the same shipping method as your original order (or the most appropriate method, at our discretion), and you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once the exchange item is shipped. If the new item you requested is out of stock, we will notify you via email and offer you the option to choose a different item of equal or lesser value, or to receive a refund instead.
6. Processing Returns and Refunds: Once we receive your returned item(s) and verify that they meet the eligibility requirements, we will process your refund within 3-5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it may take 3-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer’s processing time. We will not refund any original shipping costs, unless the return is due to a defect, shipping error, or our mistake. If you requested store credit instead of a refund, the store credit will be added to your account on dressvscode.com within 1-2 business days of processing, and you can use it for future purchases with no expiration date.
7. Defective or Damaged Items: If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect (e.g., wrong size, wrong color, wrong item), please contact us at info@dressvscode.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, photos of the defective/damaged/incorrect item, and a detailed description of the issue. We will review your request and provide you with a prepaid shipping label to return the item(s) to us. Once we receive and verify the issue, we will either send you a replacement item (free of charge) or issue a full refund (including original shipping costs), at your discretion.
8. International Returns and Exchanges: International customers may request returns or exchanges, but they are responsible for all return shipping costs, including any customs duties or taxes incurred when shipping the item(s) back to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for international returns, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages during international return shipping. Refunds for international orders will be issued in USD (United States Dollars), and any currency conversion fees incurred by the customer will not be refunded.

Refusal of Exchanges or Returns: We reserve the right to refuse any exchange or return request if the item(s) do not meet the eligibility requirements (e.g., worn, washed, tags removed, damaged), if the request is made after the 30-day period, or if the package is received without a valid RMA number.
